Mashed Potatoes

1 potato

To taste salt

1 teaspoon of butter

1 ounce of whole milk


1.      Peel the potato and cut into about six uniform sections.

2.      Place in a pot of salted boiling water.  Reduce the heat and simmer until tender.

3.      Drain well.

4.      Add butter and hot milk. Mash potatoes with a folk.  They should be soft and moist.  Add more milk if desire.

5.      Serve.
