Carrots

1 carrot

 

1.      Peel the carrot and cut into uniform sections.

2.      Place in a pot of boiling water, reduce heat and simmer until tender, about 20 minutes or until soft.

3.      Serve carrots as a side dish or as a desert.

 

Among many nutrients, carrots provide beta carotene which is an essential nutrient for the proper vision.
